musiCal RSS is up

When they see that syndication all the dope boys GO CRAZY!!! Sorry. I’ve been stuck on that Young Jeezy song for a little while now. RSS feeds for musiCal are up and running. What’s musiCal, you ask? It’s a mashup app that takes your top 50 artists from last.fm and checks to see if any of them are playing in your metros from upcoming.org.

musiCal

I got a small piece of a web app called musiCal I’ve been working on in Ruby on Rails. It takes your top 50 artists from last.fm and checks to see if any of them are playing in your metro via upcoming.org. I’m still having issues switching it over to using FastCGI, so its running kinda slow right now, but hopefully I’ll be able to figure it out soon. I still have to add RSS feeds and a couple of other bells and whistles, so stay tuned.

Elf-Titled

I picked up the new Advantage album, Elf-Titled, and I like it a lot more than their first album. The do a rendition of the moon level from Ducktails which is awesome and they’ve also got the alien’s lair from Contra and Kraid’s lair from Metroid.
